Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) announced Thursday morning that its fourth quarter comparable store sales were flat with the prior year result. The company expects to report fourth quarter non-GAAP EPS of $1.10 to $1.15, which is below the consensus estimate of $1.55.
Abercrombie & Fitch gapped open sharply lower Thursday and fell below the session's range going into the close. Shares finished down by 6.43 at $40.40 on strong volume. The stock dropped below support and closed at a new low for the year.
