Cenovus Energy Inc (CVE,CVE.TO) reported that its fourth-quarter net earnings rose to C$266 million or C$0.35 per share from C$78 million or C$0.10 per share in the prior year quarter.
Operating earnings increased to C$332 million or C$0.44 per share from C$147 million or C$0.19 per share last year.
The company said that its board has approved a 10% increase in the first quarter 2012 dividend to C$0.22 per share, payable on March 30, 2012 to common shareholders of record as of March 15, 2012.
