Slovenia's trade deficit increased in March, data released by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said Thursday.
The trade deficit widened to EUR 121.850 million from EUR 118.659 million in February. The value of exports was EUR 1.883 billion, while that of imports was EUR 2.005 billion.
Exports grew 0.4 percent annually, while imports declined 2.2 percent.
In the first quarter, Slovenia recorded a trade deficit of EUR 414.263 million with exports rising 1.9 percent year-on-year and imports gaining 2.1 percent.
