Windstream Corp. (WIN) reported first quarter adjusted EPS of $0.13 Thursday morning, which fell short of the consensus estimate of $0.14.
Windstream gapped open slightly lower Thursday and sharply declined during the first hour of trade. The stock finished down by 1.17 at $10.09 on the highest volume of the year. Windstream sank beneath a one-month range and set a new low for the year.
