Volvo (VOLVY.PK) said that total deliveries from the Volvo Group's truck operations in April amounted to 18497 vehicles, down 4% from the year-earlier period.
Deliveries of Volvo branded trucks in April decreased by 11 % to 8,448 vehicles from the same period last year. The deliveries in Western Europe declined 23% while deliveries to Eastern Europe were stable.
Deliveries in North America grew 26 percent to 2,431 from a year earlier. April deliveries in Latin America were down 38 percent to 1,209 trucks from 1,938 trucks a year ago.
