Mahindra Satyam, erstwhile Satyam Computer Services Ltd., reported fourth-quarter stand-alone net profit of Rs.446.69 crore, compared with a net loss of Rs.325.98 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. Total income increased to Rs.1,595.88 crore from Rs.1,376.07 crore in the year-ago quarter.
On a consolidated alone basis, the company reported fourth-quarter net profit of Rs.534.21 crore, compared with a net loss of Rs.326.98 crore in Q4FY11. Total income rose to Rs.1,738.51 crore from Rs.1,476.36 crore in the year-ago quarter.
At the BSE, Satyam Computer closed Thursday's trading at Rs.66.80, down 3.61 percent from the previous close.
