"Curb You Enthusiasm" star Larry David is reportedly set to appear in a new film from "Superbad" director Greg Mottola.

The project is in production through Searchlight and David will reconnect with his "Seinfeld" and "Curb" writing partners Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel for the script.

Thus far there is little word on the plot or subject matter for the film. According to HollywoodReporter.com, the script will be largely improv-based and is likely to follow a similar format to "Curb."

David is set to produce the film along with Berg, Schaffer, Mandel and Bradley Thomas. The news comes at a busy time for Berg, Mandel and Schaffer, who are currently prepping for the release of "The Dictator," which they co-wrote with Sacha Baron Cohen.
