Morrissey Says He May Retire In Two Years

Former Smiths frontman Morrissey says he may step away from the music business in two years. During a recent interview with JuiceOnline.com, the singer claims that after a three-decade-career the signs of aging are starting to catch up with him.

"I am slightly shocked to have gone as far as I have," he explains in the sit-down. "This is my thirtieth year, and I've aged a lot recently, which is bit distressing for me, as it must be for everyone. The body changes shape and there's nothing you can do about it."

He adds, however, that he hasn't made any final decision about his retirement:

"Do I continue as a modern day Andy Williams? I take one hour at a time," he says. "We will all probably be blown up by the Syrian government soon, anyway, so it hardly matters in the great scheme of things."

Morrissey wrapped up his last tour of the States in December, making headlines during his final show for storming off the stage after a disagreement with venue security.
