The U.S. dollar that pared its Asian session's gains against the Canadian dollar was declining in early European deals on Thursday.
The greenback dropped to 0.9888 against the loonie, compared to a high of 0.9917 hit at 9:15 pm ET. On the downside, the greenback-loonie pair may target 0.985 level. The pair ended yesterday's deals at 0.9908.
