The 1978 Gibson ES-355 guitar that was stolen from Chuck Berry has been returned, and three men have been brought into custody by officials in connection with the theft.
The guitar, valued at $50,000, was plucked from Berry's 35-acre plot in St. Charles Country, Missouri on September 11, and returned to the rock and roll legend a few days later.
Sheriff's lieutenant Craig McGuire, speaking with St. Louis Today, said that there was no information about the suspects, adding that they were undergoing questioning.
Other items stolen include power washers and dozens of used car batteries, along with part of a fence, according to The St. Charles County Sheriff's Department. Many of the items taken have not yet been returned. Authorities are unsure precisely how many times the men struck on Berry's property.
