Special Nirvana And Primus Releases To Be Sold On Record Store Day Black Friday

Nirvana and Primus are headlining this year's slew of exclusive Black Friday Record Store Day releases. Nirvana drops a limited-edition, high-quality version of Incesticide cut at 45 RPM, while Primus is dropping its Green Naugahyde on 10-inch vinyl.

According to Metric, via Record Store Day's website, Nirvana and shopping in locally-owned music shops go hand-in-hand:

". . . the minute you step into the store you're taken to a timeless place, the boundaries and possibilities honestly feel endless when you're walking around the store, smelling the old vinyl records, and seeing a cracked old copy of nirvana's In Utero cd in the used section (probably the copy my mom took back to the store when i brought it home and she saw the song title 'rape me' on the back . . . oh man that made me so angry, only made me want to like it more!)"

Record Store Day Black Friday is set for November 23 at an independently owned shop near you.
