The-Dream has released "Tender Tendencies," the follow-up to "AK47," his first single from the commercial release of his album 1977.
"I have tender tendencies, you know / I battle this s**t daily, you know / After my bulls**t and charm, these tendencies go off like alarms," sings the producer/performer on the gentle track.
1977 was previously offered as a free download from the MC under his given name, Terius Nash.
The tape initially dropped in August 2011 and, at the time, was described as "his deeply introspective and highly-controversial fourth album." The album will now see an official release through Nash's label Def Jam on December 18.
Fans who own the old version may also be interested, however, as the new release will feature ten new songs. There will also be special guest appearances by Pharrell ("Real") and Big Sean ("Ghetto").
