The New Zealand dollar extended Asian session's downtrend against its major counterparts in early deals on Tuesday.
The kiwi reached nearly a monthly low of 0.8290 against the US dollar, 3-week low of 1.2376 against the Australian dollar and a session's low of 1.5794 against the euro around 6:30 am ET.
The New Zealand currency also drifted weaker against the yen and the pair was re-testing Asian session's fresh multi-week low of 75.98 around this time.
If the kiwi extends downtrend, likely support levels are seen at 0.8220 against the greenback, 1.24 versus the aussie, 75.0 against the yen and 1.5860 against the euro.
