Bruce Dickinson, legendary Iron Maiden vocalist, has unveiled a new beer targeted at Maiden fans who love to kick back with some rocking tunes and an ice cold brew.
The beer, Trooper, named after the Maiden track, is brewed at Robinson Brewery, in traditional English fashion:
"As a fan of traditional English cask beer, I thought this actually be something really exciting," said Dickinson in a statement, "We could actually develop a proper, real, long-term beer."
"I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when we were asked to create our own beer. I have to say that I was very nervous: Robinsons are the only people I have had to audition for in 30 years. Their magic has been to create the alchemical wedding of flavour and texture that is Trooper. I love it."
Trooper Premium British Beer will be available in the U.K. and elsewhere starting in May 2013.
