Joe Walsh is working on a project with Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr, and a host of other classic rock all-stars.

The Eagles guitarist revealed the news by posting a picture last Friday in which he appears standing alongside blues guitarist Keb' Mo', producer Don Was, Mick Jagger, bassist Tal Wilkenfeld (who has previously worked with Jeff Beck), keyboardist Mike Finnegan, Walsh, Ringo Starr and drummer Jim Keltner. The caption alongside the picture notes: "Cooking up something here at Capitol Records." Walsh later posted a picture of himself with singer/songwriter Bill Withers in the studio.

The collaboration was confirmed separately by Wilkenfeld, who posted on her Facebook page: "Thursdays in the office are usually pretty mellow. Like today . . . when I wrote a song with Bill Withers, Mick Jagger, Keb Mo & Joe Walsh. LOL."

Walsh (who is also Starr's brother-in-law) kicks off his Rock and Roll Never Forgets Tour with Bob Seger on March 27.
