Switzerland's real estate bubble index increased in the first quarter, a report from the UBS showed Friday.

The index rose by 0.06 index points to 1.17. The report said that though the pace of increase was weaker than in the previous quarters, the risk of a correction in the housing market has increased.

The index was in risk zone, according to UBS. The increase can be attributed to continuing price increases for residential real estate and to an increase in mortgage loans alongside stagnating household incomes and consumer prices, the report said.
