David Bowie has unveiled the music video for "The Next Day," the third single from his latest album of the same name. The vid, directed by Floria Sigismundi (The Runaways), features actor Gary Oldman and Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard.
Oldman plays a sketchy priest, while Cotillard plays a prostitute suffering from stigmata. Bowie's in the video too, in the role of a holy man running a church/brothel.
It's not the first time Bowie and Oldman have teamed up, having also joined forces in 1995 for a duet of the former's "You've Been Around," for guitarist Reeves Gabrels' album, The Sacred Squall of Now.
"The Stars Are Out Tonight," the lead single off the new album, also got the star treatment in its accompanying video, featuring Tilda Swinton.
