Dave Davies, guitarist of the Kinks, is coming out with a new solo album. The LP, Davies' sixth solo effort, is titled I Will Be Me.
This will be Davies' first record since 2007's Fractured Mindz and his second since suffering a stroke in 2006.
Numerous special guests are reported to be on the album, including the Jayhawks and Anti-Flag, Oli Brown, Chris Spedding, Dead Meadow, the Art and Geri X.
The first single from I Will Be Me is "Little Green Amp." The video for the song is now available to view on the Internet. The album hits June 4.
In addition to the new album, Davies will head out on a support tour. It launches in New York City May 27 and wraps on June 11 in Del Mar, California.
