Trisha Yearwood and Little Big Town both scored wins at the Daytime Emmy Awards. The event took place in Beverly Hills on Sunday and found Trisha a winner for her series, Trisha's Southern Kitchen, while LBT won for their song "Good Afternoon."
Yearwood actually shared the Emmy for Outstanding Culinary Program with the show Best I Ever Made. Yearwood is currently filming the third season of the program.
Little Big Town's award came for the placement of their tune as the theme music to the ABC program Good Afternoon America. They celebrated the win, tweeting: "Wow. We just won a#DaytimeEmmy!!!! We're freaking out!!!"
The track served as the theme music for the nine-week summer series, hosted by Josh Elliott and Lara Spencer. LBT even performed the track on air August 2 along with their summer hit "Pontoon."
