Chris Brown Axes Rihanna Track From X

Chris Brown has reportedly elected to leave his collaboration with Rihanna off of his upcoming release, X. An unnamed source close to Breezy checked in with HollywoodLife.com, noting that he's seen the tracklisting and the Riri collab is nowhere to be found.

"Just saw the working track list for X yesterday — Rihanna is not on there," dished the insider.

"Record execs wanted that song on there, but Chris said he would rather not and wouldn't allow the record to be released unless they took it off. They're still hoping to convince Chris or pay him more to change his mind because it would be a hit. The record hasn't been pressed yet, so things can change, but at this point he's not changing his mind."

Before the pair's recent split, Brown had confirmed that she would, in fact, be on the release:

"We're taking it one day at a time. She's a wonderful girl. She's beautiful. She's on tour and our schedules don't allow us to be as close as we want to be. But everything is good. She will be on my album," Chris told USA Today in March.
