Nowadays there are plenty of alternatives to the car radio, but Brad Paisley, in a recent interview with CMT Radio, says the AM/FM dial is still his number one option when he's cruising down the road.
In particular, he says he likes it when one of his songs comes on the radio, allowing him to judge its reception by a friend:
"They should be able to have that reaction without me sitting across from them, going, 'Well, whaddaya think?' That's no fun."
He added: "In a car, you're both facing the same direction, and you're both watching the world as it comes towards you. And there's something about that that is just the only place to listen to music for me. It's the best invention ever -- the radio inside of a car."
