Romania's unemployment rate fell for the fifth consecutive month in June, data released by the state employment agency ANOFM showed on Monday.
The registered jobless rate dropped to 4.96 percent, the lowest since July last year, from 5.03 percent in May.
The number of unemployed decreased to 438,110 from 443,985 in the previous month.
In the same month last year, the country's jobless rate was 4.58 percent and the number of unemployed was 404,114.
