Mario has announced that his triumphant return to the R&B scene will be September 17, when he releases his new album, which has a working title of Restoration.
The 26-year-old singer confirmed the news to Hot 97's Angie Martinez during a recent visit to the New York City radio station.
Mario also confirmed to Baltimore's 92Q that Restoration will feature guest appearances from Nicki Minaj, J. Cole and Sevyn Streeter. He added that the track "Fatal Distraction," featuring Cole, will be his next single.
It has been four years since Mario has released a studio album. That LP was 2009's D.N.A., which peaked at number nine on the Billboard 200 and number two on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.
