Prince has released a clip of "Groovy Potential," the latest cut from his 3rdEyeGirl project. A one-and-a-half minute clip was posted to YouTube, with the full cut available for purchase at the Purple One's official website.
Consequence of Sound called the track a sure-fire party anthem:
"One half funk-jam, one half late-night lounger, 'Groovy Potential' begins all sexy and sensual with intricate guitar work, muted trumpets, and some helluva great vocal work by one [Prince]."
"Groovy Potential" is the fifth cut from the new project following "Extraloveable Reloaded," "Ain't Gonna Miss U When U're Gone" and "FIXURLIFEUP."
Prince's upcoming release, Plectrum Electrum, currently has no release date. Songs released over the past few months that may feature on the LP include "Rock and Roll Love Affair," "Screwdriver" and "Breakfast Can Wait."
