Mick Fleetwood says that, despite reaching advanced age, Fleetwood Mac are "totally driven by drama." Speaking with the Sunday Times, Mick said conflict makes the band go:
"I think we're calming down a bit, but we're terrified of not feeling. So if nothing's happening you'll worry yourself into creating a drama - just so you've got something to react to. It's sort of an addiction, really."
During the extended sit down, Mick also noted that had he not stopped consuming drugs excessively, "the next stop would have been a wooden box."
Fleetwood Mac are headed back out on the road this fall, beginning with a September 20 stop at the O2 Dublin. The European trek also takes them to England, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Australia.
