Cher has recorded a cover of Samuel Preston's track "Dressed to Kill" for her forthcoming album. Preston is best known for his work with the Ordinary Boys, and cut the track for his debut solo single following the group's split in 2008.
The cover wouldn't be a stretch for Cher, as she has long collaborated with Preston's writing partner Mark Taylor.
News of the cover first appeared on Wikipedia, which published a complete track list for Cher's latest, Closer to the Truth, due out next month.
Cher also hit Twitter to share snippets of the lyric, which are identical to those written by Preston. According to NME, the new album will feature a collaboration with Scissor Sisters front man Jake Shears, as well as tracks by Timbaland and Pink.
