TLC is featured in the music video for J. Cole's "Crooked Smile," a cut from his sophomore album, Born Sinner. The cinematic vid, directed by Sheldon Candis, features Cole as a drug dealer who invites his family over to celebrate his little sister's b-day.
Things take a turn for the worse when DEA agents raid Cole's house, shooting his little sis in the process.
The video was dedicated to seven-year-old, Aiyana Stanley Jones, who was killed in similar circumstances during a Detroit police raid in 2010. Cole added at the end of the video to "please reconsider your war on drugs."
Cole's current tour with Wale picked up on September 19 at St. Louis, Missouri's Fabulous Fox Theater.
