In index measuring consumer confidence in the United Kingdom came in with a score of -11 in October, the latest barometer from GfK revealed on Thursday.
That's down from the almost six-year high of -10 in September and well shy of forecasts for -8.
The index for personal finances over the last year saw a score of -17, while the outlook came in at -2.
The index for the general economic situation in the country during the last year was -25, while the outlook was -2.
