Japan will on Thursday release October figures for retail trade, setting the pace for a busy day in Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Retail sales are expected to dip 0.8 percent on month and rise 2.1 percent on year following the 1.8 percent monthly increase and the 3.1 percent annual gain in September. Sales from large retailers are called lower by 0.2 percent on year after adding 0.7 percent in the previous month.
New Zealand will see November results for the business confidence survey from NBNZ. In October, the confidence index saw a score of 53.2, while the activity outlook was at 47.1.
Australia will provide Q3 numbers for private capital expenditure, with analysts looking for a decline of 1.2 percent following the 4.0 percent gain in the second quarter.
South Korea will release current account figures for October; in September, the current account saw a surplus of $4.97 billion.
Hong Kong will announce retail sales numbers for October, with analysts expecting an increase of 7.0 percent on year following the 4.9 percent gain in September.
