An index tracking the prices of domestic corporate goods was up 0.1 percent in November compared to the previous month, the Bank of Japan said on Wednesday, standing at 102.6.
That matched forecasts following the 0.1 percent contraction in October.
On a yearly basis, prices were up 2.7 percent - in line with expectations and up from the 2.5 percent increase in the previous month.
Export prices were down 0.1 percent on month and 2.0 percent on year, the data showed, while import prices eased 0.2 percent on month and 0.4 percent on year.
