SGX-Catalist listed Sustainable Engineering Solutions Provider Metax Engineering Corporation Ltd. said its subsidiaries have won a total of around S$33 million worth of palm oil bio-refining and bio-energy engineering projects in Malaysia and Thailand. The addition of these projects brings the Group's current order book to S$60 million to date, which is likely to be realised in the next 24 months.
Metax Engineering was granted these contracts in Malaysia and Thailand to design, supply, fabricate, construct, deliver, install, test and commission of these palm oil refining plants. All these plants may be completed by June 2015.
Commenting on the award of these projects, Chief Executive of Metax Engineering said: "These projects are an indication of the growth in oil palmrefining industries and also serve as a recognition of our bio-refining and bio-energy engineering expertise and track record."
