The pound slipped against other major currencies in early European deals on Tuesday.
The pound reached a 4-day low of 1.4504 against the franc, compared to Monday's closing value of 1.4528.
The pound fell to a 4-day low of 1.6594 versus the dollar around 4:00 am ET.
Against the yen, the pound eased from an early session's high of 169.61 and declined to 168.76.
The pound fell back to a 4-day low of 0.8380 against the euro, moving away from an early high of 0.8362.
The pound may possibly face support around 167.00 against the yen, 0.845 against the euro, 1.44 against the franc and 1.64 against the greenback.
