The first trailer has been released for the upcoming Roy Orbison documentary titled Mystery Girl: Unraveled. The film takes a close look at Roy's collaborative album, Mystery Girl, which featured appearances by U2's Bono, as well as Roy's Traveling Wilburys bandmates George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, and Tom Petty.
The rock doc take a song-by-song look at the famed album, which helped reignite Orbison's career before his death in 1988.
The trailer, which is available for streaming at several sites, gives a brief taste of the in-studio and live performance footage featured throughout.
In his review of the album Rolling Stone's Michael Azzerad writes that it "encapsulates everything that made Orbison great, and for that reason it makes a fitting valedictory." He added: "[T]here are ten songs and six producers on this record, but the sound is miraculously unified."
