Synergy Health Plc (SYR.L), a provider of specialist outsourced support services to health related markets, has announced certain board changes.

On July 25, 2013, it was announced that Richard Steeves, Group Chief Executive, would succeed Sir Duncan Nichol as the Group's Non-Executive Chairman upon his retirement on March 31, 2014 and that Adrian Coward would take over from Richard as Group Chief Executive. Owing to the expanding opportunity for the growth in outsourced hospital sterilisation services in the USA, the board has decided that Steeves should defer his move from Chief Executive to Chairman and Sir Duncan would similarly delay his retirement.

Adrian Coward, the present regional CEO for the UK & Ireland, would now take on a broader role as COO for the Group as a whole, and joins the board, effective immediately.

The company would report their pre-close trading update in the week beginning April 14, 2014.
