Japan March Corporate Service Prices Up 0.7%

An index measuring corporate service prices in Japan was up 0.7 percent on year in March, the Bank of Japan said on Thursday, standing at 97.1.

The headline figure was in line with expectations and unchanged from the previous month.

On a monthly basis, prices were up 0.6 percent - accelerating from the 0.3 percent gain in February.

For the first quarter of 2014, prices were up 0.7 percent on year and 0.2 percent on quarter.

Among individual components of the survey, prices were up for architectural services, security and advertising; they were down for communications and real estate.
