Net sales were $1.40 billion, compared to $1.06 billion, a year ago. Analysts expected revenue of $1.27 billion for the quarter.
HARMAN raised its financial outlook for fiscal 2014. The company now forecasts global revenue of approximately $5.275 billion, and earnings per share of approximately $4.36. Analysts expect the company to reoprt 2014 profit per share of $4.23 on revenue of $5.12 billion.
