JD.Com Expects To Price IPO In A Range Of $16-$18

JD.Com, Inc., (JD) an online direct sales company in China, currently estimated price range for its Initial Public Offering to be between $16.00 and $18.00. A total of 69 million American Depository Shares or ADS and selling shareholders identified in this prospectus are selling an additional 24,678,260 ADSs.

The ADSs will begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market under the ticker JD.

The company said, "underwriters may also exercise their option to purchase up to an additional 14,052,840 ADSs from us at the initial public offering price, less the underwriting discount, for 30 days after the date of this prospectus".

Merrill Lynch, UBS Investment Bank, Allen & Company LLC and Barclays were some of the acting joint bookrunners.

The China based company filed IPO on January 30, 2014 with the US Securities and Exchanges Commission in which the company did not disclose information pertaining to the ticker symbol as well as the price range.
