The Band Perry take things literally in the new music video for their track "Chainsaw," as the band arms themselves with chainsaws in order rid themselves of the past.

The vid begins with a receptionist at Love Is Shady Tree Service. She receives a call and the caller asks if the tree service can chop a tree for him.

"It's just bringing back some bad memories," he says. "Oh, I know," the receptionist commiserates. "Sometimes you just gotta cut your losses and bury the hatchet, huh?"

They schedule the tree chopping, and the band is shown in a green Jeep, driving through a forest. They meet a young girl in the woods, who points out a tree carved with initials, which is promptly cut down. They do the same to several other trees.

The video was filmed on a farm in Oregon, where trees are harvested for multiple purposes.
