Defence and security company Saab Bofors Dynamics Switzerland Ltd , a fully-owned company of Saab AB (SAABF.PK), and US-based NonLethal Technologies Inc. have signed a long-term cooperation agreement whereby Saab Bofors Dynamics Switzerland will market and sell the IronFistTMand Cobra40TMless-lethal weapon systems, including their 38-mm and 40-mm munitions, on an exclusive basis in the European market.
NonLethal Technologies was originally formed in 1994 as a research and development firm by former employees of Federal Laboratories. It evolved into a full manufacturing operation in 2002 when it moved to its current 46-acre plant in Homer City, Pennsylvania. In recent years NLT's product line has expanded dramatically, to include a full range of less-lethal force and tactical munitions, and support weapon systems for military, correctional and law enforcement customers.
