Japan Domestic Corporate Service Prices Rise 0.3%

An index measuring domestic corporate service prices in Japan was up 0.3 percent on month in July, the Bank of Japan said on Tuesday - standing at 106.6.

That was shy of forecasts for an increase of 0.4 percent, and up from the 0.2 percent gain in June.

On a yearly basis, prices climbed 4.3 percent - also below estimates for 4.4 percent and slowing from 4.6 percent in the previous month.

Export prices were up 0.1 percent on month and down 0.9 percent on year in July, the data showed, while import prices added 0.1 percent on month and 1.1 percent on year.
