The Kinks will release a new box set - The Anthology 1964-1971 - to celebrate their 50th anny. The five disc set, featuring over 100 songs, rare demos, outtakes and alternate mixes, hits November 4.
The set also includes 25 previously unavailable tracks, interviews with the group and a 7" single.
At the end of August, the band nixed reports that they would proceed on a 50th anny reunion without Dave Davies.
"Mojo is wrong. There will be no Kinks reunion without both Ray and Dave Davies. Ray Davies claims to have never said this," the band wrote on its Facebook page, with Dave adding, "I would love to do some form of a Kinks reunion with Ray."
