The U.S. NAHB housing market index for October is to be released at 10:00 am ET Thursday. Prior to the data, the greenback showed mixed trading against its major opponents. While the greenback recovered from its early low against the yen, it held steady against the rest of major currencies.
The greenback was valued at 106.05 against the yen, 1.2741 against the euro, 1.6012 against the pound and 0.9472 against the franc at 9:55 am ET.
