There's no escape from the selfie phenomenon, even in the fantasy world of video games.
WoW Insider, a blog dedicated to the popular World of Warcraft game, reports on an update "bringing us the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera, a marvelous device that finally lets us egomaniacs turn our cameras on the one person in game we care about the most -- ourselves."
Screenshots show characters stretching their arm out towards the screen as if using a smartphone or digital camera.
The selfies can also be dressed up using three new Instagram-style camera filters.
WoW also reports that Twitter integration is also on the way, so that gamers can blast that virtual selfie on social media.
