Ukraine's Defense Ministry says it lost 19 soldiers and 9 soldiers were taken captive during the planned withdrawal of 3,000 Ukrainian soldiers from Debaltseve bridgehead.

The information on 12 soldiers is being investigated. 135 servicemen were wounded in fighting with rebel forces, the Ministry said on Wednesday.

MoD said bodies of 81 persons killed in fighting in the past two months have been evacuated, and 19 bodies identified. In all, 195 persons were captured by rebels, while information on 340 soldiers is being investigated.

As agreed in the ceasefire deal, the armed Forces of Ukraine have completed withdrawing with all the heavy weapons from the war-torn eastern towns.

But the pro-Russian rebels are accused of violating the truce.
