U2 has announced a pair of HBO documentaries set to air this fall.
First, on November 7, HBO will air a behind-the-scenes documentary about the band and its Innocence + Experience tour, helmed by Oscar-winning director Davis Guggenheim. According to a press release, the film will feature interviews with the band and its team as well as a look at Bono's recovery from the bike accident that sent him to the hospital last fall.
Following the documentary, the band's stop at the Bercy Arena in Paris will air on November 14.
"U2 continues to take risks, which has made them one of the most consistently exciting forces in rock 'n' roll," HBO president of programming Michael Lombardo said. "The one-two combination of this documentary special, followed by the concert, will provide viewers with the ultimate look at this remarkable band behind the scenes and on the stage."
