The Dutch economic growth eased less than initially estimated in the three months ended June, latest figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics showed Wednesday.
Gross domestic product grew 0.2 percent quarterly in the three-month period to June, which was revised from the 0.1 percent rise estimated earlier. In the first quarter, the rate of expansion was 0.6 percent.
The picture of the economy has not changed. The growth is broadly based: both investment and consumption and exports make a positive contribution, the agency said.
On an annual basis, the economy expanded at a slower pace of 1.8 percent in the June quarter, revised up from 1.6 percent, following a 2.5 percent gain in the preceding quarter.
Adjusted for calendar effects, annual GDP growth slowed to 2.2 percent in the second quarter from 2.5 percent in the previous three months.
