M83 will appear at the NOS Alive 2016 Festival. The band is the first to be announced for the festival's 10th anniversary.
NOS Alive, formerly known as Optimus Alive, has previously hosted Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines, Foals, Depeche Mode, Radiohead, The Cure, Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Bob Dylan and Blondie alongside electronic acts and DJs such as The Chemical Brothers, Justice, Deadmau5 and Simian Mobile Disco in previous years.
The 2015 line-up included Disclosure, Django Django, Sam Smith, Counting Crows, James Bay, Sleaford Mods and Azealia Banks. Alt-J, Metronomy, The Jesus And Mary Chain, Jessie Ware, Young Fathers, James Blake, Róisin Murphy and Ben Harper also performed live at the festival.
The NOS Alive 2016 Festival will be held in Lisbon, July 7-9.
