Demi Lovato has signed on for a performance at this year's annual New Year's Rockin' Eve event. The show will take place in New York's Times Square and will serve as the lead up to the legendary New Year's Eve ball drop.

The event is scheduled to air on ABC starting at 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve and this year Lovato will join Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth, and Luke Bryan as performers at the event.

The announcement comes at a busy time for Demi, who also made recent headlines when she performed a cover of Adele's latest tune "Hello" in concert at Seattle's Fall Ball. In addition to the cover, Lovato played some of her own hits, including "Heart Attack," "Neon Lights" and "Cool for the Summer."

According to Billboard, Lovato gave "a powerful performance" of the Adele cut.

Lovato was joined by fellow acts Andy Grammer, Becky G, and Omi at the annual Fall Ball.
