Overall bank lending in Japan was up 2.3 percent on year in November, the Bank of Japan said on Tuesday - standing at 492.599 trillion yen.
Excluding trusts, lending also rose 2.3 percent to 428.201 trillion yen.
Lending with and without trusts had risen 2.5 percent in October.
Lending from trusts added 2.2 percent to 64.398 trillion yen, slowing from 2.3 percent a month earlier.
Lending from foreign banks added 0.1 percent to 1.843 trillion yen after falling 0.6 percent in October.
