Elton John joined Ed Sheeran onstage during his recent show in Sydney, Australia at Allianz Stadium.
During the second half of his performance, Sheeran manned the guitar while John, wearing his trademark sunglasses, took his rightful place behind his trusty piano as the duo performed a number of songs, including John's 1993 hit "Don't Go Breaking Me Heart" as well as number of Sheeran's tunes.
"I have to say I have never done a concert like this and the atmosphere is . . . already you are the loudest crowd in Australia," Sheeran told the sold out crowd of nearly 48,000 people.
After the show, one dedicated fan wrote online, "Having your mind blown watching Elton John and Ed Sheeran jamming on stage," while many others simply left the hashtag "amazing."
